It all started with a friendship and a shared dream at Vanderbilt University.

Late-night brainstorms between two friends turned into one big idea:

What if we could create a truly better-for-you beverage without sacrificing fun and flavor?

We were tired of the same old sugary drinks and “healthy” options that didn’t actually excite us. So we set out to do something a little bananas — harness the natural power of real fruit to shake up the beverage aisle.

As the idea gained traction, the team grew too. Two new partners joined us, great professionals with decades of experience in food, beverage, and distribution.

What started as a duo became a powerhouse team of four. That’s when we formally established Wildcoast Ventures LLC, a company built to launch Banagua and bring this vision to life.

The mix of fresh perspective and deep industry know-how made the difference. Our combined expertise in retail, logistics, and brand-building turned a promising concept into a bold new brand. We’re not just dreamers. We’re doers.

From that blend of curiosity and capability, Banagua was born: a refreshing banana water made from one simple ingredient: organic heirloom Thai bananas. No added sugar. No preservatives. Just natural hydration, clean energy, and a smooth, lightly tropical taste that feels as good as it is for you.

    Handpicked Heirloom Bananas

    We start with two unique varieties of heirloom Thai bananas. One is known for its sweet, fragrant flavor. The other brings dense nutrients and fiber. Grown organically and sustainably, only the best bananas make the cut.

    Gentle Extraction

    Once harvested, the bananas are steamed and mashed to release their naturally nutrient-rich water. Using a cutting-edge, high-integrity extraction process (think next-gen juicing), we preserve the natural electrolytes, vitamins, and subtle sweetness that make bananas so powerful.

    Pure and Simple

    The result? Pure banana water. No added sugar, no preservatives, no concentrates. Just one simple ingredient doing all the work. (Yes, it’s really just bananas.)

    We lightly pasteurize and package the water in eco-friendly aluminum cans to lock in freshness. Each can is a tropical time capsule—shelf-stable for up to 18 months and ready to chill and enjoy.

    Our bananas are grown on regenerative, community-run farms in Thailand. These heirloom crops aren’t just flavorful. They support biodiversity, ethical agriculture, and meaningful local impact.

  • Waste Nothing

    We use as much of the fruit as possible, even scraping banana peels to extract added nutrients. Nothing is wasted. By-products are either reused or responsibly processed. It’s our way of turning upcycling into everyday practice.

    We work with logistics partners who share our mission to reduce environmental impact. From farming to freight, we prioritize efficient, lower-emission choices every step of the way.
